In a recent interview with Air Cargo Update, Alexey Zotov, Managing Director of Air Cargo Green Capabilities, shared expert insights on the current state and future of the air cargo industry.
“As far as I see, in terms of trends for the next three to five years, the market is quite stable — especially in China,” Alexey noted. “We’re seeing almost every major airport’s capacity grow by 3–4% annually, especially on the biggest hubs.”
He also highlighted the rapid development of new airports across China and the rise of emerging players in the Asian market, including countries such as Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The discussion also covered the company’s strategic focus on niche carriers, as global airlines continue to dominate major routes. Additionally, Alexey emphasized the critical role of IATA certification for companies operating in the air freight sector.
