ACGC has successfully completed a complex air charter project transporting oversized industrial pipes from Bangkok (BKK) to Milan Malpensa (MXP).
The shipment included 41 XXL pipes measuring 10 meters each, with a total cargo weight of 93 tons. To handle the dimensions and weight of the cargo, the project was executed using a dedicated Boeing 747F freighter.
The operation required careful preparation and coordination across multiple stages, including special packing arrangements, delivery of the cargo to the airport, and supervised loading procedures to ensure safe handling of the heavy and outsize cargo shipment.
A key objective of the project was to optimize transportation costs. Through precise load planning, the entire shipment was consolidated into one aircraft instead of two, significantly reducing logistics costs for the customer.
The project supported logistics operations for an industrial facility in the energy and oil & gas sector, highlighting ACGC’s capability to manage complex air charter and oversized cargo transportation projects worldwide.
